Can you help me find a new home for my golden retriever? Yes, we probably can. Here are the steps involved:
Complete a Dog Profile Form. This will give us additional background about your dog to match it with potential adopters. Forward the profile form to the Golden Placement Coordinator at: goldenplacement@grcbc.org or by regular mail.
If it’s necessary, we will have someone assess your dog. This will give us additional information about what your dog is like and will help us to make the best match with an adopting family.
Consent to phone calls and visits by potential adopters. They will probably have more questions about your dog, will want to visit your dog and take it out for a walk.
Fee for Golden Placement Referral Service is $25.00. This fee goes into our Golden Care Fund that will help our Club to continue to provide referral services and care for Golden Retrievers needing new homes or help with health issues prior to re-homing.

PLEASE NOTE:
- We require that all dogs placed through the GRCBC’s Golden Placement Program be spayed or neutered before adoption. If your dog is not spayed or neutered yet, and you would like to find it a new home, please contact us and we can discuss some possible arrangements.
- We reserve the right to refuse a dog into our Golden Placement Program.
