Membership has its privileges.
With your membership to the GRCBC:
- You will receive a copy of the Annual Awards edition of "Golden Tails"
- The opportunity to join with club members in whatever type of activity you wish to pursue with your golden: Obedience, Conformation, Agility, Tracking, Working Certificate, Hunt Tests etc.
- You will have the opportunity to attend social events such as the Annual Banquet, Golden Days, the Island Golden Picnic to name a few.
- You will be the first to hear of and have the opportunity to register for upcoming events and educational seminars and training events as offered by the club.
- You may also attend the general meetings held approximately five times a year. (generally held in the Lower Mainland and once each June in Nanaimo).
- Members in good standing may participate in the Puppy Listing service on the website, after completing their service to the club and meeting the requirements
- Members in good standing may participate in the Breeders Listing on the website, after meeting the requirements.
- Club members may also hold an executive or voluntary positions with the GRCBC to assist in the running of the Club.
- Club members may be eligible to receive club member discounts on selected seminars/events. i.e. heart and eye clinic, seminars, etc.
We have 4 types of membership:
- Ordinary $35.00
- Family $40.00
- Associate (within Canada) $35.00
- Associate (outside Canada $35.00
All members must abide by the Code of Ethics, Constitution and Bylaws of the Golden Retriever Club of BC. Before becoming a member, we encourage you to review this information under the About Us section of the website.
