Barkley's a sweet 4 year old neutered male. He was completely unsocialized when rescued last year and made great progress over the past year. Barkley had his first ever vet visit, went to obedience school, and learned many things, including that car rides are fun!

He is very gentle with people but can be timid. He is afraid of some pushy dogs so needs an understanding but confident owner who will help him work through his insecurities. Barkley needed a a calm home without small children, and would would be happiest as an only dog or or with a quiet mature dog to teach him canine social skills.

We are happy to report that Barkley has found his forever home.
